Lisandro Munoz, born on October 14 1969, he lived in small town Chicago. Growing up was tough as his family was primarily on welfare. Through hard work, his proud parents were able to send him to a public school for a good education. Any achievements he and his family earned was for striving for a better living. Throughout middle school, teachers acknowledged that Lisandro was well above his grade, but chose to work with his peers, knowing he is just like everyone else. Graduating junior high with honors, Mr. Munoz went to Ridgewood High where he met his high school sweetheart. He graduated top of his class and received scholarships from prestigious schools, following from Yale and Harvard to Penn State. Following what he knew he wanted, he went straight to Yale with the scholarship and pursued a major in Law. After four years and a masters degree in Law, he had been missing something in his life. Lisandro realized, and realized he wanted to make America a better place.
